interaction, climate prediction/forecasting, and climate-related risk

By use of observational datasets and mathematical models of various of various complexities, he is interested in investigating the physical mechanisms which maintain the climate and cause its temporal and spatial variations. His current focused areas are: (1)the forcing-response relationship of earth climate system,(2)cloud-radiation interactions and their impact on the climate,(3)global and regional energy and water cycles, and (4) the model simulation of East Asia Monsoon.
