Climate Informatics and User Service

Climate Informatics and user service is to develop and operate the web-based climate information service and data service system. APCC develops system and tools to efficiently provide climate data which is produced by APCC. The current climate information services are through websites below.

APCC Data Service System (ADSS)

ADSS is a pure data provision service using FTP and OpENDAP protocol. It provides a comprehensive set of model and observational climate data to various researchers and users.

Tracking climate and environmental changes (TRACE)

TRACE aims at providing a portal service for providing better solutions to climate adaptation issues through international cooperation. It provides virtual laboratory and library function for collaboration between scientists to share research information and discuss their opinions.

APCC Website for Climate Information Service

The official APCC website provides various climate data. Through this website, high cost climate data and information are shared to member economies and even to members that do not have the capacity to produce climate predictions.

CLimate Information toolKit (CLIK)

CLIK is a web-based tool for data retrieval and climate prediction. It provides graphical user interface for user manipulation of multi model ensemble seasonal forecast, statistical downscaling of seasonal prediction and data library function.
